Hi, I'm Mira (she / her & they / them).

I provide a compassionate and embodied form of therapy that supports more of you - more of your authenticity, power, vulnerability, capacity for connection, and inherent belonging - to emerge.
This process is more like a supported blooming than a "being fixed" or molded. Rather than try and tell you how you "should" be, I join you in finding the nourishment and support that each part of you is truly needing.
The explorations I offer are particularly suited for healing from complex trauma, attachment wounds, disconnection from body and self, and struggles in present relationships. The explorations I offer are both gentle and deep, and completely unique for each client.
As a neurodivergent, genderqueer, and disabled Ashkenazi Jew, I am deeply committed to embracing alienated and oppressed experiences.
Together we can discover what forms of nourishment and care are needed for your own radical healing to emerge.

Gestalt Psychotherapy
Gestalt Psychotherapy is an embodied form of relational healing –– which means healing the wounds that impact our relationships (including our relationships with ourselves) by exploring new possibilities of relationship, authenticity, wholeness, and connection. "Embodied" healing, sometimes referred to as somatic therapy, means that we include your whole experience, from sensations to thoughts and beliefs. Embodied healing also means bringing awareness and support to the nervous system.

The Gestalt therapy I offer invites a deep healing that is also gentle. While I will always invite you to explore your edges, places you have not gone before, there is no "digging" or pushing you to go somewhere you are not yet ready to go.

This is a collaborative form of therapy. Rather than seeing myself as "expert" on one side and you as "patient" on the other, I view us as a team working together to discover what is most nourishing and supportive for your growth and healing.

What If...
What if you don't know what your feelings are? What if you struggle to articulate what is even bringing you to therapy in the first place? What if you are overwhelmed with feeling, wanting to pour everything out right away? Or lost in a swirl of feeling that you aren't ready to share?
There are an infinite number of ways to show up. And you cannot get it wrong. There is no right or wrong amount of feeling to be having.

There are no struggles that are too trivial – if it is a struggle, and if you are suffering, then it is not trivial.

Even right in this moment, you are having an experience worthy of being explored.
You are alive.
You are an entire world of memory and sensation; layers of mood and emotion, ideas, desires, fears and comforts.
And always, you are a world worthy of support.
